Leading Fitness Franchise Strengthens Home Office with First Female Promoted to Leadership Team

NASHVILLE – D1 Training, a leading fitness concept utilizing the five core tenets of athletic-based training to help people of all ages, from youth athletes to fitness-minded adults, announces the appointment of Emily Andreoli as Vice President of Finance and Accounting, marking the first female to be promoted to the brand’s leadership team.

Andreoli worked with D1 as the Director of Accounting for the Home Office and D1 Cool Springs since 2018. She played an instrumental role within the company, managing the internal financial reporting process, franchisee billing and reporting, as well as scaling the accounting systems and processes to align with D1’s rapid growth. During this time, she helped facilitate D1’s strategic investment from Princeton Equity Group, which has helped accelerate the brand’s nationwide expansion and secure its leadership position in the fitness industry.

She now joins the D1 executive leadership team in which she will be responsible for providing strategic financial planning, leading and managing the budgeting process, and overseeing all sides of the franchise organization's accounting operations. In this role, she aims to continue to improve the D1 financial process, and bring unique female perspective to the leadership team.

"I am honored to join D1 Training’s executive leadership team as Vice President of Finance and Accounting,” said Andreoli. “Being the first female to be promoted to the brand's leadership team is a significant milestone, and I am proud to represent. I look forward to making an impact by continuing to innovate and improve the D1 financial process. Together, we will drive the brand's growth and strong performance well into the future."

Before her time with D1, Andreoli graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina with dual degrees in Finance and Sport & Entertainment Management before moving to Nashville to pursue a career in the music industry. After a few years self-releasing music and later working as a tour accountant for multiple international touring acts, she went back to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her Masters of Accounting.

"It is with great pride that we announce Emily's appointment to the D1 leadership team as our Vice President of Finance and Accounting," stated Dan Murphy, COO of D1 Training. "Emily's exceptional track record and unwavering commitment have consistently elevated our brand. As we embark on our journey of aggressive franchise growth, Emily was the natural choice to join our esteemed leadership team. With her expertise and remarkable leadership skills, we look forward to the contributions she will make in establishing D1 as one of the premier names in the training and fitness industry."

D1 has set forth an aggressive development goal to award over 100 territories in 2023, bringing D1’s total number of units in development to over 250. Alongside this impressive growth is strong performance. According to D1 Training’s Franchise Disclosure Document, the average gross revenue for D1 franchised businesses in 2022 was $870,884 with same store revenues up 13% from the previous year*.

All locations offer three core training programs, Scholastic (Rookie, Developmental, Prep and Overtime), Adult and Pro. Each fitness program is based on the five athletic-based tenets: dynamic warm-up, performance, strength program, core and conditioning, and cool down. Outside of group workouts, D1 offers one-on-one training with world-class coaches.

D1 Training has experienced strong same-store-sales growth year-over-year as the industry remains strong as ever, with an untapped growth potential in scholastic training. The competitive landscape of youth sports is ever changing and having access to a place like D1 - where young athletes can hone their skills – is becoming increasingly important.
